Nevin Day Centre first opened its doors in June of the year 2000.
We moved to larger premises at Key Hill, Hockey in 2017,
where we remain to date.
This was great news for both us and our community
as it meant we would be able to provide
our specialist services to the wider community.
The Centre Staff and Service Users get on well together
and
the atmosphere is one that reflects fun, friendship and laughter.
Service users are positively encouraged to
voice any concerns they might have,
in the knowledge that these will be listened to and taken seriously.
There are good arrangements to access primary and specialist Health Care
and
we facilitate support from Professionals and/or Therapeutic Services.
We ensure that the needs of our Service Users are met by all our Carers
and
that Personal Care arrangements meet individuals preferences, needs and choices.
Our Recruitment Policy and Practice is appropriately robust
ensuring the protection of vulnerable adults.
