Enjoy the things you've always liked and learn new skills that you've never tried.

Activities make up an important part of all our days, we strive to ensure that the variety reflects the interests and capabilities of all the people we support.
With Carers on hand at all times, each activity is designed to not only mentally and physically stimulate our Service Users but to also enhance their life skills and feelings of purpose and self-worth.​
​We also have occasional entertainers and also trips and visits within the local community and further afield.
Popular Activity Clubs, Hobbies and Interests at Nevin Day Centre include:

Art
Still Art, "paint what you see: " These sessions encourage Communication and Social Skills and also opens up the imagination and level of creativeness of the participant.

Games
Pool, Air Hockey and Table Football.

Photography
Capture the moment, create your own picture story, or video story. 'See real beauty through nature'.

The Communication Hub
visit 'The Day Centre Inn' our in-house Social Club with Cards, quizzes and discussion groups, entertainers, trips within the local community/ holidays.

Gardening
Grow your own salad. These sessions focus on Healthy Eating and how we can grow our own food, harvest it, wash it, prepare it, eat it.

Exercise
Gentle exercise and movement to loosen us up. Also learn about 'how exercise can help us stay healthy.'

Cookery
'Come Dine with us'. Survival Cooking, learn how to prepare and cook a basic meal for yourself and your group.
